What are Wedding Monograms?
Wedding monograms are hugely popular in the United States and are now making a big impact on the Irish Wedding scene.
The monogram can take many forms: including the bride and groom’s names, hearts, symbols or the wedding date. It is projected behind your top table or onto the dance floor and adds an extra flourish to the lighting of your wedding venue.
You can choose from a range of standard monograms or it can be fully customised with a unique design.

The monogram is created from a piece of etched glass that we create especially for you and we post this to you after your wedding to keep as a unique and special keep sake.
How to book.
We offer secure and safe online booking which allows you to pay for your wedding monogram online.
Once you have booked you will receive a booking confirmation and a member of the Wedding Lighting.ie team will be in contact to confirm the template or custom design.
Once you are happy with the design we will send you a final template / proof image to sign off and then we begin production of your unique wedding monogram.
Please note that all designs must be finalised a minimum of 1 month before your wedding day to ensure that the wedding monogram can be produced on time.
Wedding Gobo / Monogram Templates
The following templates are some of our standard designs available and do not incur any additional cost when ordering.
If you would like to design your own wedding monogram, please ensure it is created as a vector based image in Adobe Photoshop or Adobe illustrator.
There is a surcharge for this additional design and it will be emailed to you for approval once you have booked your wedding monogram utilising our online booking.
Wedding Monograms things to consider:
- Safe and secure online booking
- As the monogram is created from a piece of glass some couples have even framed the glass afterward with a favorite picture of the day, this can create a very unique keep sake
- Wedding monograms are projected typically onto the area behind your top table, it is worth taking a look at this area to ensure that the monogram has adequate space to be displayed
- We require a space back from your top table to place the projector. In rare cases no suitably safe space can be found. We will discuss this further when you place your booking online
- We do not produce the monogram until you have signed off the design
